Sunrise or Sunset?

and what can happen today.
this is a time to lose yourself
lost in the oranges and blues that make the day.
wondering... wondering if you'll bring your all today,

just enough to get by.
and when the sunsets
the firey rays of the day now gone
in its place are shallow cool purples and pinks
more time to wonder.
wonder if you were your greatest you.
wonder how you'll be great tomorrow.
as you watch the sun go down, fading to black,
the white stars coming out, shinging brigther each night.
you appreciate the sunset, thankful for the day's end,
appreciating the day's wonders— awaiting for the new sunrise
each bring promises of different levels.
